Main Responsibilities:
1. Ensure Company Activities Comply with Legal Regulations
- Review and Approve Documents, Contracts, and Internal Policies: Advise and review company documents, contracts, and internal regulations to ensure they comply with legal requirements and business needs, while minimizing legal risks.
- Develop and Implement Monitoring Plans: Propose and implement plans to monitor and assess the company’s operations within the legal framework, focusing on identifying risks and proposing timely solutions to mitigate or prevent them.
- Manage Business License Procedures: Handle procedures related to company/business licenses, including establishment, amendments, and closure of operations when necessary.
- Update and Report on Legal Regulations: Keep track of new legal regulations affecting the company’s business operations. Report updates to leadership and propose measures to ensure compliance with the law.
- Manage Legal Documentation: Manage and maintain legal documents related to the company’s business licenses and branches, according to delegation of authority.
- Notarize Contracts and Documents: Handle the notarization of contracts and lease termination agreements as required by the company.
- Apply for Temporary Sidewalk Use Permits: Handle the registration and renewal of temporary sidewalk use permits for stores, in compliance with local government regulations.
- Coordinate with Admin on Utility Services: Work with the administration team to register, change, or renew electricity services for stores.
- Handle Legal Tasks as They Arise: Address any legal issues or procedures that arise in the course of business operations.
2. Manage Disputes, Maintain Relationships, and Interact with Government Authorities
- Engage with Authorities: Directly liaise with local government agencies and regulatory bodies such as health departments, local administrative offices (UBND), market management, fire safety authorities, and others during routine checks, special inspections, or as authorized by company leadership.
- Prepare Fire Safety and Emergency Response Plans: Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with fire safety (PCCC) and emergency response (CNCH) plans for the company’s store network.
- Handle Disputes and Legal Matters: Advise on, supervise, or directly handle disputes within legal forums, as delegated by senior management.
- Monitor and Prevent Ethical Violations: Investigate and address any ethical violations or breaches of professional conduct within the company.
- Maintain External Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with external partners and regulatory authorities such as market management, urban planning inspection agencies, police, fire departments, and cultural and information offices in the company’s operating areas.
3. Ensure Fire Safety Compliance
- Coordinate Equipment Inspections: Work with the maintenance department to ensure periodic checks of fire safety equipment at company stores.
- Manage Fire Safety Documentation: Oversee and maintain records related to fire safety (PCCC) and emergency rescue (CNCH) for the company’s store network.
- Conduct Fire Safety Training: Collaborate with external fire safety organizations to provide training on fire safety and emergency evacuation procedures for employees and customers.
Job Requirements:
1. Knowledge:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law or higher.
- Language Skills: Proficient in all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office.
2. Skills:
- Negotiation and Presentation Skills: Ability to negotiate and present ideas clearly and effectively.
- Information Synthesis Skills: Capable of gathering and synthesizing complex information.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to handle and resolve situations effectively.
3. Work Experience:
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the legal or legal affairs field.
